Job description :
Our client, a well-established company in the transportation and logistics industry in Canada is looking for a National Account Executive to manage existing and new accounts in the greater Montreal area. This is an exciting opportunity with a salary and incentive structure. This position reports to the Director of Sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage of the existing client portfolio to increase share of wallet and actively explore new prospects
- Build long-term business relationships with customers as well as acting as a key ambassador for the company
- Work closely with the Operations and Customer Service teams to optimize existing business and create new opportunities
- Meet or exceed the sales objectives defined by the Sales Manager
Skills and qualifications :
- A sales "hunter" mindset, balanced with effective account management skills
- Bilingual French and English
- Desire and ability to learn continuously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to persevere in a demanding and constantly changing industry
- Knowledge of CRM tools
- Knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Proven communication skills - written and verbal
- Manage multiple activities/timelines/reports
- Building strong relationships
