Job description :

Our client, a Canadian leader in the distribution of non-food consumer goods, is currently seeking an involved, motivated, energetic, and determined Major Accounts Manager.

Market Segments: pharmacies, hardware stores, convenience stores.

Main tasks:

  • Achieve sales objectives by managing accounts (including Home Depot, Korvette, and Giant Tiger)
  • Monitor territorial performance using various tools
  • Negotiate commercial agreements
  • Maintain excellent customer relations
  • Coordinate with internal departments to meet deadlines
  • Produce and present business analyses
  • Manage existing planograms and programs
  • Prospect new accounts and generate business opportunities

Skills and qualifications :

  • Creative and innovative mindset
  • Autonomy
  • College diploma (DEC) or equivalent
  • Proven experience in business development
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in major account management
  • Strong communication skills (English and French)
  • Ability to develop written proposals and presentations
  • Knowledge of the retail sales and commercial marketing market
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
