Job description :
Our client, a Canadian leader in the distribution of non-food consumer goods, is currently seeking an involved, motivated, energetic, and determined Major Accounts Manager.
Market Segments: pharmacies, hardware stores, convenience stores.
Main tasks:
- Achieve sales objectives by managing accounts (including Home Depot, Korvette, and Giant Tiger)
- Monitor territorial performance using various tools
- Negotiate commercial agreements
- Maintain excellent customer relations
- Coordinate with internal departments to meet deadlines
- Produce and present business analyses
- Manage existing planograms and programs
- Prospect new accounts and generate business opportunities
Skills and qualifications :
- Creative and innovative mindset
- Autonomy
- College diploma (DEC) or equivalent
- Proven experience in business development
- 5 to 7 years of experience in major account management
- Strong communication skills (English and French)
- Ability to develop written proposals and presentations
- Knowledge of the retail sales and commercial marketing market
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
