Job description :

Our client, a real estate company specializing in the redevelopment and conversion of multi-family properties, is looking for a Project Manager to join its Quebec team in Montreal.

As a Project Manager, you will ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget through your proper planning and actions.   

Responsabilities:

• Perform the tendering process and analyze the bids received accurately.
• Ensure the negotiation and allocation of contractors for the various projects.
• Review the specifications and designs provided by engineers prior to distribution to contractors and/or municipal officials.
• Complete pre-construction visits with contractors and/or civil servants.
• Ensure the transmission of completion times to real estate transactions and the leasing team to enable them to carry out their pre-lease activities.
• Actively work towards a 30-day conversion and/or renovation cycle by creating a supply and inventory of materials to reduce delays.
• Establish and coordinate internal and external schedules, documentation and resources to achieve objectives.
• Organize deficiency meetings and create detailed reports for entrepreneurs to adjust.
• Update project status, provide progress photos, and create weekly and monthly reports.
• Communicate to senior management the developments of your projects and the engineering problems to be solved.

Skills and qualifications :

• A bachelor's degree in engineering and/or PMP an asset
• Relevant experience in multi-residential property management and renovation (asset)
• Experience in the style of implementation of EPCM projects (asset)
• Knowledge of construction systems
• Ease in reading plans and quotes
• Have organization, structure and be able to carry out short- and medium-term planning
• Excellent interpersonal skills, dynamism, initiative and curiosity.
• Bilingual (French and English) oral and written
