Job description :
Our client, a medical communications company located in the heart of Montreal, is looking for an Account Manager. Under the direction of the President, the Account Manager will be responsible for maximizing business growth through the development of new business and the strengthening of existing business relationships across Canada. The successful candidate will be an independent supervisor who will be able to work in a competitive sales environment, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new accounts and increase sales
- Build and manage relationships with customers, professional affiliates and other members of the professional pharmaceutical community
- Create a detailed action plan that will achieve sales objectives and develop the territory's full potential
- Analyze the potential needs of customers, identify new opportunities and generate a request for proposals
- Business development mainly by phone, social media and on the road
- Create business proposals
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal groups
Skills and qualifications :
- Proven experience in a competitive sales environment is an asset.
- University diploma.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of the medical industry.
- Exceptional conversational and distance selling skills.
- Perfectly bilingual (French / English)
