Job description :

Our client, a manufacturer of protective products for workers in hazardous environments, is currently looking for a Territory Director to cover the provinces of Quebec and the Maritimes, in order to complete his team and increase his share of market to existing and potential customers.


Your responsibilities:


  • Be in charge, with the support of the team to establish the territory growth strategy and market penetration.
  • Be able to help clients clarify and define their hardware and data analysis requirements for worker safety.
  • Conclude sales, in a consultative manner, by finding solutions adapted to the applications required for security containing both a hardware and software component.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities for the territory at a minimum level of 150% of the monthly sales target.
  • Be in constant contact with your distribution network to help them with strategies and good planning by maximizing cost savings, margins and revenues
  • Provide ongoing training in new product technologies including wireless with data.
  • Exercise a look on the competition, attend industrial fairs.
  • Be available to travel throughout Quebec and the Maritimes 40-50% of the time.

Skills and qualifications :

  • You are experienced in selling solutions and have a good ability to solve your customers' problems through innovative technology solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, marketing or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7 years of experience as Territory Manager with a confirmed sales history and expertise in sales consulting and customized solutions.
  • Relevant experience in the security industry or the industry in general.
  • Great organizational skills, time management and autonomy.
  • Very professional presentation with negotiating skills and signing of complex agreements.
  • Bilingualism (French / English) spoken and written mandatory.
