Job description :

This company, which targets extraordinary civil projects, is currently looking for a foreman in the civil sector to join its teams working in formwork and concreting.

 Main responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, direct and control all work
• Prepare the list of steps to be carried out and determine the needs in manpower, materials and equipment
• Manage subcontractors and ensure the quality of the work
• Carry out carpentry, formwork, concrete work
• Collaborate with the work supervisor and professionals by listening to their instructions and completing the work to their satisfaction
• Make corrections requested by the supervisor and professionals

Skills and qualifications :

• Technical degree in civil engineering or relevant experience
• 3 to 4 years of experience in similar functions
• Very good knowledge of the rules, policies, procedures, laws and standards in the field of formwork and civil engineering
• Experience in deep excavation and earthworks
• Have a good knowledge of plans and specifications
• Demonstrate good judgment, professionalism and integrity, team management
• Be available for travel throughout the various locations in Quebec. Travel outside the province may be required from time to time
