Job description :

*Home base position*

Our client, a leading consumer data analytics company, is currently seeking an Analyst. The position will be based at home within the province of Quebec.

Main tasks :

• Support clients in their strategic thinking in order to clearly identify their needs, analyze client problems, target relevant information and make timely recommendations
• Perform category analysis and reviews to optimize strategies and opportunities related to consumer information, marketing, assortments, shelves, merchandising, pricing and promotions.
• Maintain the ability to keep the perspectives of manufacturers and retailers in mind at all times; able to think through multiple divergent paths and understand the implications for all

Skills and qualifications :

• 1 to 4 years of experience in the consumer goods industry
• Strong knowledge of sales data systems: Nielsen, Dunnhumby, IRI, Precima, etc. (an advantage)
• Bilingual
• University degree
• Agility to adapt to changes and identify opportunities to improve different ways of doing things
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to perform complex data analyzes
