Search process and methodologies

Our mandate is to identify and recruit individuals who possess the specific knowledge, expertise and personal qualities required by the client. We concentrate on individuals who have succeeded in their current position, who are recommended as having the qualifications we seek, and who may otherwise not be actively looking for a new opportunity.

Introductory consultation

We meet with the client to develop an understanding of their organization and the specifics of the position to be filled. We also gain an insight into the company's philosophy, its management style and its culture.

Development of a position specification

Once a consensus is reached on the requirements of the position and the qualifications of the ideal candidate, a detailed position specification is posted on our website. This specification outlines our mutual observations and perceptions, and becomes the benchmark for our initial sourcing efforts and discussions with candidates.

Formulation of the search strategy

We do considerable basic research on companies likely to have qualified candidates for the position, capitalizing on our extensive network of personal contacts developed through previous searches. We also source internal databases and external databases (internet) for qualified prospects. Every candidate presented was interviewed and evaluated by one of our consultants.

Candidate presentation and client interviews

Well-qualified candidates who emerge from the interview process are introduced to the client with an efficient description of each of them (current position, career experience, accomplishments and personal background). We also provide reference checking and profiling to meet the needs of our client.

Timing

The complete search process takes time and involves five steps: research, sourcing, screening, interviewing and presentation. Research begins immediately upon receiving a search assignment, with the target of presenting qualified candidates for client review within an agreed-upon time frame.

Guarantee policy

Every successful recruitment mandate comes with a replacement guarantee for the client.

Code of ethics

- We will not solicit candidates from companies that we have placed with.
- We will ensure complete confidentiality of our clients' intellectual assets.
- We will put forward only suitable candidates who have been interviewed and assessed thoroughly.
